Included free with every eligible item. If a covered item lets you down, a like-for-like replacement drops into your basket for Β£0.
All sterile mushroom grow kits are now covered with a free guaranteed replacement for 12 weeks after dispatch, and the best bit - you don't need to pay an extra penny for it.
Oh and it's just a button click. Y'know, just one of those common self-service replacement buttons you've never seen on any shop ever.
Yes, for any product marked as 'EZ-REPLACEMENT' it means it now includes the coolest warranty system we've ever had. Even microscopy spores have it (except swabs/prints/or wild exotics!).
Too many people abandon this hobby because they've messed up, or nature's done a number on them at the final hurdle.
A second chance is what we're offering. Ahhh, what can be more human π
DON'T ROB US.
On spore syringes you can swap rather than take the same one back. Any Cubensis syringe of the same size that is in stock - free if it is the same price or less, and if it is a higher price you just pay the difference. Grow kits can swap too: a cheaper kit is free (and if the value of yours covers it, you can take more than one), or pay the difference for a dearer kit.
The product page is the place to check, but here is the list:
- Spore prints and swabs, even though they sit right next to the syringes.
- Multi-packs like SpawnTubs, for now.
- The PF-Tek MycoPot Grow Kit (DIY).
- Wild-collected and non-Cubensis spores. These are gathered in the wild and can carry hitchhikers, which is exactly why we cannot promise you won't see a hitchhiker through your microscope.
- A replacement cannot itself be replaced. One per item, then that one is done.
- Sending it somewhere else. A replacement can only be shipped to the same address as the original order went to - you cannot change the address and get it sent there.
- Postage. The replacement is free, getting it to you is not. The exception, as always, is something that turns up damaged, and we cover the postage on that.
Your basket marks every covered item, so you can see where you stand before you pay.
Psilocybe cubensis spores are sold for microscopy and genetic preservation. Growing them is illegal in the UK. We do not sell them for that and we cannot help you do it.
If a claim, a message or an order note tells us the spores have been grown, or describes anything else illegal, the guarantee is permanently void - for every item of every order belonging to that customer - and we will not send a replacement (if we didn't we'd be breaking some serious laws that we aren't going to break for anybody).
Grow kits are for gourmet, edible species, which are perfectly legal to grow here.
You do it yourself and it takes all of about 15 seconds.
- Open the replacement portal. Sign in with the account that placed the order, or use your secret login code and postcode combo and head to your account and you'll see it.
- Pick the order and the item. If more than one is affected, say how many.
- It lands in your basket at £0. Marked as a free replacement.
- Check out and pay the postage. That is the only thing you pay. Usually posted the same day.
If you have any problems, just drop us an email. It's a new system and might have some rough edges until it's been fully battle tested.
If something is not eligible, the portal tells you why rather than leaving you guessing, whether the 12 weeks have run out or the order has not gone out yet.
You can still claim. The portal needs to prove the order is yours, so sign in with the account that placed it or use your secret login code and postcode combo. Without either, it cannot find your order, and it will say so rather than send you round in circles.
