Watering down spore syringes until you can barely spot a spore with your eyes is common practice across this UK scene. Vendors can buy spore prints from the hippy down the street, use a cheap home-built flowhood (if you're lucky), fill syringes with sterilised tap-water and cap them with those ten-for-a-penny black adhesive dispensing syringe caps which would melt at the sight of a 121C steriliser, then throw in a few pence worth of tacky cartoon stickers, charge near £20, and pocket the profit.

Our syringe caps alone cost more than other vendors entire syringe with their spores.

And yet, we can still manage to have visible spore density from £8, with heavily packed triple density for £16. We even go all the way up to 27X for around £60.

Some shops like to criticise other shops for using AI to help with their workload, while at the same time packing their site with Google tracking, meta pixel and a dozen other kinds of tracker so those companies can use AI to track their customers behaviour and sell it to every marketing company going.

If you're new here, we're Cylocybe. Spores are our bread and butter. We created this shop in 2017 to bring spores to the UK because there weren't any other UK shops (the only similar kind of business was RedEyeFrog which had closed down the year or two before - amongst a thousand other products, they sold GT and B+ syringes but mushrooms weren't their focus at all). We did rather well at this, so well that many of our customers now compete with us and team up to compete with us. Some competitors are really decent folk, like Myco Revolution, SporeBuddies and others! But, we're not here to make friends with the other shops. We do not have time, we're perpetually busy.

If you want to feel part of a clique community, we're not it. We spend our time innovating the ideas that have shaped this scene from the start. We don't spend our time spending. Our prices are fantastic and our quality is even better. We've come back to this scene after a very long break and we see shops pairing up together, one doing the kits for the credit/debit cards and sending traffic to their spore mate, vendors in the Sport, shops trying to claim registered trademarks that don't belong to them, shops setting up multiple shops and not being open about it - I could go on and on.

Triple f that.

We're here for the people. The non-clique people. The people with a conscience. The people who can look at Gaza and call it a genocide. The people who aren't brainwashed by bigotry being fed via their Big Tech social media apps through their eyes and into their souls.

We're here for the people who want spores because they are looking for something deeper. We started this site because of a passion for mushrooms, not because we seen someone else making bank. That's the difference between us and every other shop in the UK. And that's the fact you can prove yourselves. This is the only UK shop that can never in a million years be accused of copying an idea. It's not "just business" for us and we don't play by the same rule book either.

We (I mean, I... because Ruth is just the best human ever!) might grate on you, but we don't pretend to be someone we aren't. This is a shop with soul, and when you buy from here you aren't buying from a corporation, you're buying from the folk who have dominated this UK scene for years just by being ourselves and releasing banger after banger of products.

Now you know who we are, and what we stand for. This shop isn't a regular shop - it's a reflection of our souls.

Another thing, we will often close shop to catch up with orders when we get too busy - we do not hire staff anymore out of choice. We work from home now (thank the mushroom Gods) and our lab is right here with us. All of our equipment and machinery is right here with us too. Cylocybe is our lives - there is no home time. We moved in to the 4000sqft unit in 2020 and it was a miserable experience. Never again, not unless we own the property - otherwise you can be dealing with a charlatan landlord and his goon tenants that despise mushrooms!

Spore Syringe: 12ml

• Spores suspended in sterile distilled water in a BD Luer-Lok syringe
• Choose how dense you want your spore syringes to be
• Sealed with a sterile, tamper-evident luer-locking cap
• One sterile wrapped 21G (0.9 mm) × 40 mm luer-locking needle
• One sterile 70% isopropyl alcohol / 2% chlorhexidine wipe, for cleaning your slides before dropping spores on to
• Sealed in a light-blocking mylar foil bag, labelled on the outside of the bag

Spore Density

If you want a standard spore syringe, that's fine. Everyone does them basically the same.
But if you want a seriously dense spore syringe that'll last you for years, we got 'em.

The denser you go, the less solution you need to use to inject on to your microscopy slides. Or blast it with lots and see the difference! You will be amazed.

How Clean

We sell clean syringes. If we didn't, we'd never have afforded the £100K+ in machinery from plasma CNC's, laser cutters, welders, 3d printers, sterilisers, filling machines, two work vans, and on and on. Our spore syringes are really good.

Offer Replacements?

If you have any issues, order a replacement - it's a self-service button in your account so we don't even need to speak to you. Not that we don't like speaking to customers, we just know what it's like to be a customer and having to explain why you need a replacement is a hassle for everyone. We take it at face value, not with suspicion. We still make some profit regardless.
